Shrewsbury Boro School Fourth Graders Visit Christ Church<\/span><\/h1>\n

Each year in June the parish hosts the Borough fourth graders who have studied New Jersey History in this grade. This year about 55 students came to the church led by their teacher Mr. Rooney. Reverend Lisa Mitchell and parish historian Bob Kelly described the rich history of the church and the special aspects of the historic church building. Deacon Magdalena Aders gave the students a special treat by portraying Florence Hazard and telling the story of the Hazard family, one if the most prominent families in Shrewsbury in the late 19th<\/sup> century.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
