Memorial Day Service 2021
Christ Church Honored Interred Veterans from the French and Indian War to the Vietnam War on Sunday, May 30th. The parish held its annual Cemetery Memorial Service, including the reading of the veterans interred here in the Christ Church graveyard on Sunday, May 30th after the 9 a.m. service. These veterans span the eras from the French and Indian War to the Vietnam War.
American Doughboy from the 28th Keystone Division – Portrayed by Stuart Buncher. These were a group of men made up of NJ National Guard, Pennsylvania National Guard and Maryland Nation Guard On May 28th, 1918 the 28th Division was part of the 1st Division and attacked Cantigny France as the first all American group without British or French assistance
WWI British VAD (Volunteer Aid Directory) Nurse – portrayed by Judith Buncher. The nurses were invaluable in treating the allied wounded during WWI.
