MONMOUTH COUNTY GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY VISITS CHRIST CHURCH

On July 10^th, the Monmouth County Genealogical Society visited Christ Church. About 60-70 members attended. Parish Historian Bob Kelly gave the group a tour of the church reviewing its history and interesting objects. On display were the 1733 Parish Register, the 1769 Builder’s agreement and the two 1758 Lottery Tickets.

The visitors were also treated to performances by two members of the Dead Actors’ Guild. Judi Buncher portrayed Louise Jost and Patrice Thornton portrayed Graham Kearny Cooke.
